She also performed as part of the <em>Jermyn Street Jewels<\/em> season at Jermyn Street Theatre, followed by the Pizza On the Park in Knightsbridge, where she presented <em>When I Look at You<\/em>, based on the life and music of Frank Wildhorn (composer of <em>Jekyll &amp; Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Bonnie &amp; Clyde<\/em>).<\/p><p>In 2001, Nova&#8217;s career took her to Germany to play Jellylorum in<em> Cats<\/em>. Whilst in Stuttgart, she regularly sang on the showb\u00fchne in the S.I. Centre, as well as at galas and corporate events.<\/p><p>In 2004, she performed concerts at prestigious hotels throughout Switzerland and France, as Soprano with the group <em>West End Live<\/em>, singing music from Bernstein to Lloyd Webber. <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1293 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/novaskipp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Kewdos-jazz-band-photo-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p><p>Christmas 2005 saw Nova entertaining the passengers aboard the <em>Saga Rose<\/em> cruise ship, as they toured the Canary Isles. By way of contrast, in 2008, she sang to visitors from all around the globe, as they admired the sights of London from <em>City Cruises<\/em>.<\/p><p>She has performed with groups such as <em>Incognito Artists<\/em> and <em>So Productions<\/em>, at fantastic venues, including Madame Tussauds and the Grosvenor House Hotel. She has also had the chance to appear as guest vocalist on several occasions for the wonderful <em>Piccadilly Dance Orchestra.<\/em><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1458 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/novaskipp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pheasantry-cabaret-me-Melody-300x169.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/>Nova continues to sing in cabaret at top West End venues, including recently at such venues as The Pheasantry on Chelsea\u2019s King\u2019s Rd and Crazy Coqs at Brasserie Zedel in the heart of Piccadilly.<\/p><p>Also, over the last few years, under the banner of her own company, <a href=\"https:\/\/novaskipp.com\/skipp-productions\/\">Skipp Productions<\/a>, Nova has developed a one woman concert, <a href=\"https:\/\/thesoundofjulie.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Sound of Julie<\/em><\/a>, a tribute to the life and music of Dame Julie Andrews, in which she plays the title role.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c70919b e-con e-atomic-element e-flexbox-base e-535df9b \" data-id=\"c70919b\" data-element_type=\"e-flexbox\" data-e-type=\"e-flexbox\" data-interaction-id=\"c70919b\">\n    \t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-30e2590 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"30e2590\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nova Skipp &#8211; Cabaret Nova began her career as a cabaret singer, firstly as part of the duo, Nova &amp; Lee, then as a solo vocalist.
